Are we killing ourselves and our kids?

The problem now is not only obesity. Of course, looking like a human, not a baloon is important. And obesity is a huge problem between adults and especially kids.

Although the obesity epidemic shows signs of leveling off, it’s still a problem of epic proportions that isn’t decreasing at all. In fact, about 32% of kids and teens are considered overweight or obese — an astounding and alarming statistic that should give every parent pause. And with many kids now tipping the scales, obesity ranked as the No. 1 children’s health concern for most households in 2008, according to the “C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital National Poll on Children’s Health for 2008.”

do you think when they grow they suddenly become thinner? healthier?
But staying thin is not the goal.
Staying healthy or be healthy should be the goal.
Who is responsible for our kids? WE ARE! PARENTS!

A recent study out of the University of Florence in Italy shows that meat and junk food may make kids prone to allergies.

so when your child grabs a coke and a pack of chips at the store are you telling them ” Please, put it back, it is not healthy and I am the one who is responsible for your health. You are not eating it on my watch!”
Are you having a conversation with them? Do you show them how coke dissolves metal and how it will destroy their intestines?
Do you show them that McDonalds food is not real, their fries do not go bad for weeks, the food is modified to the point of not being food anymore, although it looks and smells like food!

IT IS YOUR DIRECT RESPONSIBILITY.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE HEALTHY AND EAT JUNK – IT IS YOUR CHOICE!
But you cannot set your kids for unhealthy future and cancer and allergies and obesity and make decision on your own. When kids are little they do not know risks. But you do! And if you eat junk yourself, you know the risks, but you don;t care and made conceous decision be sick and fat. But please, do not decide for your kids. Say: “NO, you cannot eat these chips, these fries, these burger that has as many calories as adult should eat throughout the whole day, itis not even food, it is modified chemnically adjusted stuff that looks like food.”
PLEASE save your kids, save the nation!
